Who We Are:
The vast majority of our students dance at a recreational level, and we offer a wide variety of instructional, technique-focused, weekly classes and a professionally produced show twice per year, for our students who desire to take their dance life to the next level.
D'ansa Academy has a competition dance team that provides more performance opportunities and intensive training towards dance competitions & conventions.
Our goal is to have a positively competitive, hard-working and self-driven group of dancers that are goal-focused and carry a strong desire to find growth and improvement within themselves and as a team.
Team Paths
PRE-PRO TEAM
Designed for multidisciplinary dancers, our Pre-Professional Team is designed for dedicated dancers seeking intensive training and advanced performance opportunities. It is focused on preparing dancers for collegiate and professional careers through elevated technique classes, audition training, and overall increased training hours. This team will be commited to travel out of town for competing and training opportunities.
COMPETITIVE TEAM
Our Competitive Team offers passionate dancers a step above recreational training, providing performance experience, technical growth, and teamwork in a supportive environment. With a moderate time commitment, dancers train intensively and compete locally mostly, building strong foundations in both skill and stage presence.
eligibility Requirements
Please note that in order to audition, dancers must have at least one full year of dance experience in multiple disciplines without any breaks.
It's important that you enroll in the category that matches your age and level as of January 1st, 2026.
This year, we will be dividing the auditions based on the discipline each dancer would like to be considered for.
Important note: If you wish to audition for the solo you must audition in at least one other discipline.

Enrollments will close Thursday June 11th.
Please expect an email one day prior to the auditions with dress code instructions, arrival time and more.
